Projects
Things I build outside research
Infrastructure I run every day, and apps I wanted to exist.
Home lab
A self-hosted platform for a dozen services behind one reverse proxy, one sign-in and encrypted backups, rebuildable from a repository of Compose files and docs.
Self-hosted assistant over my own documents
One chat window over a document archive, notes, a wiki and a photo library — tools instead of a vector database, with the model running on a desktop GPU that is woken on demand.
GrGrie_Preis
Scraper, detector and price tracker for the weekly flyers of German discount supermarkets, delivered through a Telegram bot.
FitNotFat
An Android food diary and workout log — Flutter client, NestJS and PostgreSQL backend, barcode lookup through Open Food Facts, self-hosted and invite-only.
TMDB show watcher
A service that finds new episodes of tracked shows across sources, reconciles them against TMDB and proposes an edit for a human to approve — never acting on its own.
Video to written notes
Share a video to a Telegram bot and get a Markdown note in the Obsidian vault plus a TL;DR back in chat — transcription and vision running on a home GPU, queued for when it is awake.
Teaching whiteboard
A reworked fork of WBO used in my olympiad-math lessons — one private board per student, teacher sign-in, and a second entrance for students whose networks block the tunnel.
